This week was amazing. We had a few service projects this week. The baptism of our friend Silvana. We also went on a hike to a waterfall with our district this week. We also got to go to dinner to celebrate Elder Winget's birthday and my 1 year on the mission. 

The work is speeding up in our area and we are trying our best to keep up with it. A lot of other stuff happened this week but it wasn't that important. 

I would like to share a scripture this week that talks a little bit about how we can find peace in this turbulent and trying world. John 16:33 "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." I love this scripture because it reminds us that because Jesus has over come the world we should have peace, we will still have difficulties and trials but we can overcome them. The Banana 🍌

T his was another long week. It was awesome though. For New Years we got to have a Churrasco with one of our favorite families of our ward. We also had lunch with them the next day and they decided one Churrasco wasn't enough so we had another one the very next day. We also played Monopoly with them because nobody wanted to meet with us.  Our ward continues to be awesome, but sadly we only got one guy to church but they did a great job helping us teach him.  At one of our lunches this week the members gave us bananas to eat. The little girl gave me a banana that had two bananas in one peel. They told me I would have good luck if I ate it, so I did. Afterwards they told me my good luck was that I would have twins.  My spiritual thought for this week is a good scripture I read this week. It is 2nd Nephi 2:24. "But behold, all things have been done in the wisdom of him who knoweth all things." I like this verse because when bad things happen it is easy to get discouraged and...

Crazy week

This week was very different. We had exchanges and this drunk guy tried to argue with us about the story of Adam and Eve.  I got to say goodbye to my companion at the bus station as he returns home on Wednesday. Now I get to stay with the Zone Leaders, for the next 4 days, in a house with 5 missionaries and 1 bathroom.  Transfers are a little different with our new mission president and I won't know what's going to happen until early tomorrow morning. We also got to go to a party where there was lots of food and had a table to share Book of Mormons and other pamphlets about the church.  Always remember that God loves you and He is there to help you through all of your difficulties. All you have to do is get on your knees and pray to Him and ask for help.  I love you guys! Hope you're all doing fantastic! Miracles

This week was amazing but also really crazy. I saw many miracles this week.  The first one was I found Peanut Butter when I was with the Zone Leaders. I have eaten many PB and J sandwiches the past few days. I also decided to make a sandwich with pancakes and that was also super good.  The second miracle was that Elder Aviz, my new companion, arrived in Uberlândia. His bus never showed up but they got him on the last bus that came to Uberlândia so he didn't have to sleep at the bus station. He only had to wait 5 or 6 hours at the bus station. Luckily I woke up at 2 am when they called so we could pick them up from the bus station.  The third miracle is that someone who talked to the missionaries a while ago decided to show up to church and has a lot of interest in returning more times.
