Mission Tour

This week was good and tiring. We had the Mission Tour so we traveled to Goiânia and back in one day again. A leader of the church named Elder Eddy visited us. I learned a lot from the Mission Tour and it has made me very excited to continue doing the Lord's work.

I also saw my trainer Elder Marvel for the last time before he goes home. It has almost been a year since I have met him even though I can remember it like it was yesterday. It's kinda sad that so many of my comps have or will go home soon. It just means there are a lot of opportunities to make new friends.

One scripture that Elder Eddy shared with us that I liked is Matthew 28: 19-20. "19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." I love this because it is one of the last things Jesus taught his disciples. If we do as he commands, he promises that he will be with us. I have the opportunity to have Jesus with me every day as I serve a mission and I am very grateful for the experience. I know it will be different after my mission so I'm going to do my best to enjoy every day of it.
