The Zoo
I hope everyone is doing well. I'm writing on Wednesday this week because we moved our p-day so we could go to the Zoo in Goiânia. It was super fun and we got to see many animals. The Zoo had many animals that a Zoo in the US would have but also had some more native animals.
Yesterday I got to go on a division with Elder White again. Our last division was my first transfer, so I got to do a lot more this time then the first time. I also tried to learn as much as I could from him because he has lots of experience and this is his last transfer on the mission. During the division we knocked on this lady's door and tried to share a message with her. She told us she was extra terrestrial so she didn't have interest in listening to us. It was very funny and I'm not exactly sure what she meant about that.
We also had our last interviews and Zone conference with President Hancock so that was a little sad. I haven't really known him for that long, but I learned a lot from him and his wife. I will definitely miss them when they leave in June.
My spiritual thought is about what President Hancock talked about at Zone conference. He told us about what Satan is trying to do in this world and how we can combat him. Satan is trying to take away God's laws and order on the earth, because when God doesn't have laws, He won't exist. We need to make and keep covenants with God to keep us close to Him and help other do the same. We really need to lean on the covenants during times of turbulence and when Satan is tempting us. I know that God will strengthen us and help us overcome the world. If you have any questions or just want to talk you can email me at benson.plaster@missionary.org.
