Another week

This week was pretty good. Not a lot happened. Ate some good food. We are planning to have some baptisms next week so that should be fun. We got transfer news and I'll be staying in a trio with my comp and another Brazilian Elder for the next 2 weeks. Hope everyone is doing well! Don't forget that God loves you! Mission Tour

This week was good and tiring. We had the Mission Tour so we traveled to Goiânia and back in one day again. A leader of the church named Elder Eddy visited us. I learned a lot from the Mission Tour and it has made me very excited to continue doing the Lord's work.  I also saw my trainer Elder Marvel for the last time before he goes home. It has almost been a year since I have met him even though I can remember it like it was yesterday. It's kinda sad that so many of my comps have or will go home soon. It just means there are a lot of opportunities to make new friends.  One scripture that Elder Eddy shared with us that I liked is Matthew 28: 19-20. "19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Batismo 🌊

This week was amazing. We had a few service projects this week. The baptism of our friend Silvana. We also went on a hike to a waterfall with our district this week. We also got to go to dinner to celebrate Elder Winget's birthday and my 1 year on the mission.  The work is speeding up in our area and we are trying our best to keep up with it. A lot of other stuff happened this week but it wasn't that important.  I would like to share a scripture this week that talks a little bit about how we can find peace in this turbulent and trying world. John 16:33 "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." I love this scripture because it reminds us that because Jesus has over come the world we should have peace, we will still have difficulties and trials but we can overcome them. Divisions and credit cards

This week was pretty chill compared to how the transfer has been so far. We did divisions and I went with Elder Barbosa. He's a Brazilian that is in his first transfer. He wants to learn English and he already speaks pretty well so I got to help him with that. We also found 7 credit cards on the ground that were stolen from some people.  We got some friends to church and they are progressing towards baptism so we are getting excited. We also got blocked 6 times on WhatsApp this week so that wasn't really helpful. It's getting better though so we should have a great week this week.  Love you all!
