O Ônibus quebrou 😢
This week was a little difficult, but also fun. We didn't have a lot of success in our area but we still saw a few miracles. We got transfer news and I'm going to have a new companion. His name is Elder Gomes and I already know him because he was already serving in this ward but in the other area. It normally doesn't rain in Goiânia from May until October so we were a little surprised when we started getting rained on this week.
Our mission president also approved watching Brazil's world cup games if we are with members or friends so on Saturday we watched the game at a members house and it was a fun experience even though the game ended in a draw.
On Sunday we were on the way to church on the bus and at one of the stops the bus turned off. After about 5 minutes trying to turn it back on the bus driver manually opened the door and told us all to get off and that a different bus would come and pick us up. Unfortunately we weren't going to make our connecting bus so we were going to be late to church. Then out of nowhere the Stake President called us and told us to turn around. He was there in his car waving us over to come get in. It just so happened that he was on his way to our ward at that time and saw the missionaries standing next to a broken bus. It was literally as if God had sent him just when we were in need. It truly is amazing to see that even in the small and simple things God is there to help us and guide us when we don't know what to do.
