Exchanges w/ MTC comp

This week was pretty good. I got to do exchanges with my companion from the MTC. It's been a while since we had talked so it was good to catch up with him and see how much we have grown so far. We found a lot of people to teach this week which was amazing because our teaching group has been a little rough recently.

Recently I have been studying about charity and how I can get better at loving everyone especially the people we are teaching. While I was reading the Book of Mormon this week I read the story of Ammon and King Lamoni. The King offered Ammon his daughter but he denied and offered to be his servant. Alma 17:25 "But Ammon said unto him: Nay, but I will be thy servant. Therefore Ammon became a servant to king Lamoni. And it came to pass that he was set among other servants to watch the flocks of Lamoni, according to the custom of the Lamanites." I love the example of Ammon showing that the way to love others though service. These next few weeks I'm going to be trying my best to serve the people we teach and the members so that they can feel the love that God has for them. If you have any questions or just want to talk you can email me at benson.plaster@missionary.org.
