Hospital 🏥


Sorry this is going to be short, but I don't have a lot of time to write today. Elder Boxx almost broke his thumb today so we spent a solid chunk of the day at the hospital. Someone tried to rob us this week with his finger gun 👉.  It was super funny and Elder Boxx didn't realize what the dude was saying. We got to laugh it off afterwards because it was a little scary in the moment. Sorry if I haven't responded to your emails yet. Mission Tour

This week was good and tiring. We had the Mission Tour so we traveled to Goiânia and back in one day again. A leader of the church named Elder Eddy visited us. I learned a lot from the Mission Tour and it has made me very excited to continue doing the Lord's work.  I also saw my trainer Elder Marvel for the last time before he goes home. It has almost been a year since I have met him even though I can remember it like it was yesterday. It's kinda sad that so many of my comps have or will go home soon. It just means there are a lot of opportunities to make new friends.  One scripture that Elder Eddy shared with us that I liked is Matthew 28: 19-20. "19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Batismo 🌊

This week was amazing. We had a few service projects this week. The baptism of our friend Silvana. We also went on a hike to a waterfall with our district this week. We also got to go to dinner to celebrate Elder Winget's birthday and my 1 year on the mission.  The work is speeding up in our area and we are trying our best to keep up with it. A lot of other stuff happened this week but it wasn't that important.  I would like to share a scripture this week that talks a little bit about how we can find peace in this turbulent and trying world. John 16:33 "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." I love this scripture because it reminds us that because Jesus has over come the world we should have peace, we will still have difficulties and trials but we can overcome them. General Conference 🔥🔥🔥

This week was pretty awesome until Elder Winget left today. Not a lot happened outside of General Conference this week.  Transfers are this week so I get to be companions with our zone leader until my new companion arrives on Thursday. We don't get transfer news until tomorrow so I'm a little nervous about that. It should be good though.  I don't have a lot of time this week but I would like to share a quote I liked from conference. "You can count the seeds in an apple, but you can't count the apples that come from a seed." - Elder Cuvelier This means that we don't know how big of an effect we can have on others and on future generations. Keep on doing good and helping those around you. Share your testimony of Jesus with other people and help them see the blessings that comes from following him and his gospel.  Love you all!
