Another long week

This week felt pretty long. My companion traveled to Goiânia on Wednesday so I got to chill with Elder Francisco. He arrived in the mission the same time as me so it was good to get to know him a little better and teach with him in his area.

This week was a lot of work and not a lot of success, so that was a little frustrating, but we got a lot done that we needed to. I got sick on Friday night so the last few days have been a little rough, but I am starting to feel better.

This week I would like to share a scripture that I really like. Alma 5:13 "And behold, he preached the word unto your fathers, and a mighty change was also wrought in their hearts, and they humbled themselves and put their trust in the true and living God. And behold, they were faithful until the end; therefore they were saved." I like this verse because it talks about this mighty change of heart. Sometimes I wish that I and the people I'm teaching would have this mighty change of heart and instantly change. This week I realized that this mighty change of heart isn't just going to happen in one day and it's not going to happen without a lot of work. I'm going to continue to try and just change a little everyday to humble myself and trust in God and would like to invite you to do the same.

I hope you all are doing amazing. If you have any questions or just want to talk you can email me at benson.plaster@missionary.org.
