Jardim América

Not a lot happened this week, so this is going to be a shorter email. We got transfer news yesterday and I am going to stay in the same area with the newly combined ward. My new companion is from Ecuador and his name in Elder Coronel.

I almost got tackled by our friend's pitbull this week. I'm pretty sure it is a puppy, but it is fully grown, and it gets super excited when we go over. It normally just nips at my feet and legs. For some reason she got super excited one time this week and jumped up and hit me in the chest. We also saw some super cute puppies this week at a member's house.

Sunday was a super good day because lots of people came to church. There were about 175 people there, so our new combined ward is huge. I also got called on to read a scripture during Sunday School in front of everyone so that was a little exciting.

My spiritual thought for this week is about the First Vision. This is a historical event in our church's history because it is the start of the restoration of Jesus Christ's church. I have really seen my testimony grow as I have read about the first vision and taught people about it. I would encourage everyone to read it and pray to know the truthfulness of it. You can find it in the first 26 verses of Joseph Smith History. Here is a link to it https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/scriptures/pgp/js-h/1?lang=eng

I hope you all have a great week. I love you guys! If you have any questions or just want to talk you can email me at benson.plaster@missionary.org.
