Cabou com Goia

This week was a little crazy. We found out that our ward is going to be joined with another one this next Sunday. This is a little interesting because the other ward wasn't even in our stake so now we share a ward with other missionaries that aren't even in our zone.

I got to go on divisions with one of the Zone Leaders, Elder Rangel, this week. He is an awesome missionary and he only has 3 months left. We found a lot of new people for them to teach and I got to help him practice his English after he helped me practice my Portuguese.

Elder Price and I found a new family to teach and they all want to be baptized. We had quite a few people at church yesterday so that was good. Especially because the mission president was there to visit the wards before they get combined and we got to introduce him to our friends.

Today was zone p-day at president's house. We got to play volleyball and pickleball, plus I got to grow closer to some of the other missionaries in my zone.

My spiritual thought for this week is 1 Nephi 17:50. "And I said unto them: If God had commanded me to do all things I could do them. If he should command me that I should say unto this water, be thou earth, it should be earth; and if I should say it, it would be done." I love this scripture because it teaches us that if God wants something done He will get it done no matter what stands in the way. So why would we try to disrupt His work or push it off for another day when we have the opportunity today to join Him and accomplish anything.

If you have any questions or just want to talk you can email me at benson.plaster@missionary.org.
